San Juan

500 Years of Spanish Colonial History in the Americas

About San Juan

San Juan is one of the oldest European-established settlements in the Americas — a beautifully preserved Spanish colonial city with blue cobblestone streets, pastel buildings, and two massive fortresses guarding the harbor. Puerto Rico is a US territory, so no passport is required for US citizens, and US currency and phone plans work seamlessly. San Juan is increasingly used as a Disney Dream embarkation or debarkation port for Caribbean repositioning sailings.
